In this short scene written based on a prompt from Caravan Theatre asking for scripts that reflect on the impact of COVID on theater, Donatello is summoned by King Henry VI. The king wishes to commission a new work of art to commemorate his beloved and recently lost city of Bordeaux. Donatello soon discovers that the king has become significantly more... eccentric than he had been told, and must figure out how to address his absurd demands.
