Harry and Louise are back in the elementary school now that the COVID crisis is winding down, and trying to have a peaceful lunch. This is not, however, in the cards. Within moments, Roy and Jimmy come bursting in, each trying to get their teacher to say he was right. Harry, however, refuses to take sides, and instead points out that neither one of them is really in the right. Oh, and I should probably mention the BLT (Burrito, Lasagna, and Trout).

In case you are wondering about the strange title, this script was written in response to a prompt by Green Buffalo Production’s Quarantine Quarters series, where they provide the playwright with a set of elements that must be incorporated into the script. In this particular case, it had to take place in a teacher’s lounge and include a brand new sneaker, a pill of some kind, and frosting. Oh, and if that wasn’t weird enough, one had to use the lines: “I know you’re trying, so I’m trying to be fair”, “But I made bread”, and “Shoot!”. People say my mind is a strange place, but I’d love to know who put those elements together…
